“Children come to us more highly evolved than adults to teach us the lessons we need to learn”
At KIIT, we firmly believe that every child is exceptional and has a potential to reach the pinnacle of success. According to Howard Gardner, “Students possess different kinds of minds and therefore learn, remember, perform, and understand in different ways.” His theory says, “We are all able to know the world through language, logical-mathematical analysis, spatial representation, musical thinking, the use of the body to solve problems or to make things, an understanding of other individuals, and an understanding of ourselves.” As responsible educators, we understand and realize that accepting this theory has far –reaching positive effects in a classroom transaction. Hence, teachers give equal importance to all the intelligence and plan their lessons keeping the individual needs of learners in mind. For the same, we follow different learning styles that are suited best for an individual, giving autonomy to the learners to absorb the knowledge at their own pace. It has been our foremost endeavor to lay emphasis on every individual’s strengths and work upon them in a pragmatic way. The school focuses on creating an environment for the children where they learn a variety of skills and develop their abilities to solve problems. Thus, making them smart in a real sense.
